Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Darian Shorts joins Gambel Communications as a communications strategist where she oversees media relations, community relations, special event planning and management, and social media. With two degrees in Mass Communication from LSU, Darian combines her academic excellence with practical experience to deliver exceptional results. Her commitment to hard work and creative thinking consistently drives successful communication strategies.
Prior to joining Gambel, Darian served as a public relations specialist for The PR Alliance based out of Washington, DC. An experienced and driven public relations practitioner, Darian has lead impactful campaigns and establishes strong relationships with her clients. She's worked with a variety of organizations, such as Black Women Invest and National Alliance of Black Business, and ran PR campaigns for different events like Celebrez en Rose DC and MimosaCity Festival.
Beyond the office, Darian loves to travel, try new foods and spend time with her family and friends. With a blend of creativity, dedication and a passion for life, Darian continues to thrive both in and out of the workplace, making her a valued asset to the team.
