Annie Matherne
Senior Communications Strategist
Annie Matherne is a senior communications strategist with nearly a decade of extensive knowledge and experience in media relations, crisis communications, social media strategy and internal communications. In her current role, she develops and manages communications strategies and solutions for a wide variety of clients.
Before joining Gambel Communications, Annie served as the director of public relations for Audubon Nature Institute for eight years. Annie has worked on stories ranging from announcing critically endangered species to premier New Orleans fundraising galas.
Annie graduated from Spring Hill College with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising and a minor in Business Administration. She is on the board of directors for PRSA New Orleans and a member of the Press Club of New Orleans, where she has earned multiple awards over the years.
