Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Darian Shorts is a communications strategist where she oversees media relations, community relations, event planning and management, and social media. With two degrees in Mass Communication from LSU, Darian combines her academic excellence with practical experience to deliver exceptional results. Her commitment to hard work and creative thinking consistently drives successful client outcomes.
Prior to joining Gambel, Darian served as a public relations specialist for The PR Alliance based in Washington, DC. An experienced and driven public relations practitioner, Darian has led impactful campaigns and established strong relationships with her clients. She's worked with a variety of organizations, such as Black Women Invest and National Alliance of Black Business.
