Business Professor at Tulane University's Freeman School of Business Founder & Director of Burkenroad Reports. The event will take place at Sheraton New Orleans from 11 am - 1 pm.
The History of Southern Decadence
Hosted by The Historic New Orleans Collection, historian and author Frank Perez will moderate a discussion with the founders of Southern Decadence, Maureen and Charlie Block, Bruce Harris, Preston Hemmings, and Robert Laurent, about the origins and evolution of the event from a house party to one of the largest LGBTQ+ celebrations in the world.
Attendees are invited to join Perez and the panelists at the Toulouse Theatre bar following the event.
