Current Crop Roasting Shop expands class offerings to elevate coffee experiences

New Orleans The first-ever coffee roasting shop based in New Orleans, Current Crop Roasting Shop, is excited to announce the expansion of their educational experience with three new class offerings designed to enhance and expand guests' coffee knowledge and enjoyment. These new classes—Beginner Brew Methods, Coffee Sensory Perception: Aroma and Coffee Cocktail Creation—aim to cater to all ranges of guests from novices to experienced coffee enthusiasts.

Each class provides a specialized experience with hands-on guidance in new exciting areas:

  • Beginner Brew Methods: This class introduces participants to essential brewing techniques, including French press, pour-over and AeroPress. Ideal for those new to coffee making or seeking to refine their coffee-brewing skills.

  • Coffee Sensory Perception: Aroma: In this sensory-focused class, attendees will learn to identify and appreciate the diverse aromas in coffee. The class will include exercises to test each participant’s aroma recognition.

  • Coffee Cocktail Creation: This class explores the fusion of coffee with mixology, teaching participants how to craft their own signature cocktails with specialty-grade coffee. Perfect for those interested in blending their love of coffee with creative mixology.

“We are thrilled to offer these new classes that reflect our commitment to deepening coffee appreciation and expertise in our region,” says Campaign Director of Product and Programming, Catherine Mansell at Current Crop Roasting Shop. “Whether you're a brewing beginner or a cocktail expert, there’s something here for everyone.”
