Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orleans Lists New Open House Dates for Current Enrollment
NEW ORLEANS – After seeing great success from previous open house visits this year, Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orleans has added more dates and virtual options for prospective families to learn about the entire Lycée Français learning model and community. Dates are listed below, and parents are asked to visit LFNO.org to register.
Lower School Campus (preK-2) Open House Dates
Saturday, Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. (In-Person at 5951 Patton Street)
Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. (Virtual)
Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 5 p.m. (In-Person at 5951 Patton Street)
Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 3 p.m. (Virtual)
Priestly Campus (Grades 8-12) Open House
Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to noon (In-Person at 1601 Leonidas Street)
Families attending the open houses can learn about Lycée’s high academic standards, French and American curriculum overview, benefits of bilingualism, school culture, student life and international exposure. All new-to-LFNO students complete the NOLA-PS NCAP. A proficiency language test is not required for preschool and Kindergarten children or students from French-accredited schools, only those entering in first grade and above from non-French programs.
Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans is a free public charter school created in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education, following the Louisiana state curriculum and the French national curriculum. Lycée Français strives to provide a French curriculum education from kindergarten through high school in a non-denominational environment where social diversity is considered essential to the student’s education.
