National Luxury Group Travel Company Relocates Headquarters from Boston to New Orleans

Heirloom will increase New Orleans-based employees by 30%

NEW ORLEANS (Jan. 31, 2022) – Heirloom, a large-format luxury accommodations provider with more than 300 properties throughout the country, announced today the relocation of their headquarters to New Orleans. In addition to growing their New Orleans-based employees by 30%, Heirloom plans to invest $30 million in development projects in New Orleans during 2022.

As the first and largest market for Heirloom, New Orleans quickly established itself as the center of business operations. A tech-enabled hospitality company, Heirloom provides luxury group travel accommodations that are custom designed by a team of interior decorators, local artists and architects to showcase the culture of the community where each property is located.

“We built our company to provide memorable travel experiences, and New Orleans is one of those cities where it makes sense to invest in this,” says Heirloom CEO and Co-Founder, Frank Glaser. “Over the last seven years Heirloom has brought nearly $70 million into the New Orleans economy through construction, tourism spending and historical renovations. Now that we’re able to call New Orleans home, we anticipate investing upward of $30 million into the City’s economy each year moving forward.”

Initially, Heirloom will have approximately 50 full-time equivalents in New Orleans including human resources, a compliance manager, a director of sales, interior designers, construction managers and operations, along with a large number of contractors. They currently have ten to 15 open positions and anticipate additional roles will open in the coming year as a direct result of planned annual investments.

“We are committed to being an upstanding corporate citizen of New Orleans through stewardship, workforce development and civic involvement,” says Heirloom Vice President of Operations, Emily Mininberg. ”We are excited to invest in in the city and our team and are committed to growing a diverse staff, reflective of our new home.”

Heirloom invited New Orleans-based employees to participate in the selection of the new headquarters office space. The Mid-City office located on Canal Street, a main artery of New Orleans, is conveniently located for employees to reduce commute time and offers free parking – two items that continually ranked a top priority for employees.
