Louisiana Policy Institute for Children welcomes Alexandra Cory
NEW ORLEANS– The Louisiana Policy Institute for Children (LPIC) is thrilled to announce the newest addition to the team, Alexandra Cory, who joins LPIC as outreach and partnerships manager. Cory brings a wealth of knowledge in managing partnerships, coalitions and initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.
“We are delighted to have Alexandra join the LPIC team,” said Dr. Libbie Sonnier, executive director at LPIC. “Her passion, skills and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to our continued success in advocating for policies that benefit Louisiana’s youngest learners and families.”
Cory previously served as the early childhood data manager at the Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human development and family science from Louisiana Tech University and her Master of Social Work from Grambling State University.
"I am deeply passionate about forging partnerships that cultivate enduring relationships, undoubtedly strengthening our community," said Cory. "I am inspired to be part of a team dedicated to advocating for our state's families and providers."
