NEW ORLEANS – Gambel Communications, a premiere New Orleans-based public relations agency, is pleased to announce that Amanda Roberts has joined the team as a communication strategist. The appointment is effective immediately.
As a communications strategist, Roberts will work to advance public relations initiatives for a host of clients, including Arc of Greater New Orleans, Greater New Orleans Hotel and Lodging Association, Catholic Charities of Greater New Orleans, Camellia Beans, Dagostino Handmade Pasta, Restore the Mississippi River Detla, Ponchartrain Conservancy and Zea Rotisserie & Bar.
Before joining Gambel, Roberts spent more than a decade in broadcast journalism. An award-winning reporter recognized for her coverage of Hurricane Ida, Roberts most recently served as weekend anchor for FOX 8 New Orleans. Prior to that, Roberts worked at WPSD-TV in Kentucky and earned several accolades including “Best Reporter” from the Associated Press, and at WHDH-TV in Boston.

Roberts is a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a minor in Spanish.
