New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute Welcomes New Board Members

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) is pleased to announce the appointment of seven new board members - all of which are alumni of NORLI’s Regional Leadership Program - who will represent the organization’s commitment to regionalism as a core tenet to the advancement of Southeast Louisiana.

“For 22 years, NORLI has identified key leaders in the Greater New Orleans Region and brought them together to build relationships, collaborate, and envision what the future of Southeast Louisiana could look like,” said Stephen Reuther, Executive Director of NORLI. “Not only has our board been indispensable in creating that experience, but as we emerge from the pandemic their leadership and vision for the future of NORLI and our region will be as vital as ever.”

The new board members include:

·      Melissa Bordelon, President and CEO of the Tangipahoa Chamber

·      Joshua Denson, Principal of Next Chapter

·      Maria Huete, Administrator, Fund Development and Community Relations for Junior League of New Orleans

·      Ryan Kelley, Director for LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors

·      Fannie Marcotte-Bennett, Director of Client Services for Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc.

·      Ryan Rodrigue, Vice President of HUB International

·      John Wachter, Financial Advisor for Edward Jones

These incoming members are joined by returning members Ethan Ashley, R. Erich Caulfield, Barrett Conrad, Rebecca Cooley, Erin Cowser, Tiffany Davis, Josie Delaune, Elizabeth Ellison-Frost, Jeff Good, Nathan Landry, Chris LeBato, Kelli Peterson, Jennifer Messina, Kathleen Robert, Brandy Smith, Thea Wall, Larry Washington, Karl Weber, Theron Williams, Chandler LeBoeuf, Sonia Malhotra, Rachel Massey, Meaghan McCormack, Peggy Mendoza, Angela Morton, Rachel Nunez and Randy Smith. Additionally, Patty Riddlebarger was recognized for her leadership as Chair throughout the pandemic with her appointment as a Director Emerita of the Board, an honor reserved for individuals whose commitment to NORLI has helped shape and define the organization since 2000.

 NORLI’s flagship program, the Regional Leadership Program, will announce its Class of 2023 in late August, with the program set to start in October.
