Louisiana Policy Institute for Children Welcomes Kristy Chauvin

 
 

NEW ORLEANSLouisiana Policy Institute for Children (LPIC) is thrilled to announce the newest addition to the team, Kristy Chauvin, who joins the LPIC team as operations manager. Kristy brings a wealth of experience and expertise in managing daily administrative operations, compliance, and procurement, both in the public and private sectors.

In her role as operations manager, Kristy is responsible for overseeing the daily support operations for the nonprofit. With more than 10 years of experience in the field, Kristy is a well-versed operation professional known for her passion for achieving goals and her proactive approach to problem-solving. She has a proven track record of exceeding expectations and implementing changes with a strategic focus, enhancing business plans and day-to-day activities.

“Please join us in welcoming Kristy Chauvin to the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children team,” said Dr. Libbie Sonnier, executive director at LPIC. “Her passion, skills, and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to our continued success in advocating for policies that benefit Louisiana’s youngest learners and families.”

Before joining LPIC, Kristy served as the Procurement/Contracts Coordinator at the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority and as a DBE Support Specialist at First Transit, Inc. She holds an associate degree in business administration from American Intercontinental University.

“I am thrilled to join the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children team,” said Chauvin. “Supporting the increase of high-quality early care and education for children across Louisiana is something that I am truly passionate about.”
